King Township is where the GTA runs out of suburb and becomes something else. King City, Nobleton, and Schomberg are its three main communities. None of them feel like the rest of York Region. Lots start where most municipalities stop. Estates here measure acreage, not square footage. The National Golf Club of Canada is one of the most exclusive private clubs in the country. Carrying Place Trail, the original Indigenous route between Lake Ontario and Lake Simcoe, ran through this land. The Humber River headwaters begin in King. The Oak Ridges Moraine protects a significant portion of the township from development, which is precisely why it commands what it does.

Estate markets do not move on volume. They move on the right buyer meeting the right property. King has no subway, no GO train in most areas, and no walkable amenities. What it has is acreage, privacy, and proximity to highways when you want it. Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street connect to the 400-series highways.
