Etobicoke runs from the Humber River to the city's western boundary along the lake. The Kingsway, a leafy residential street in the heart of central Etobicoke, is one of the most consistently desirable addresses in Toronto. Bloor West Village brings the energy of Annex retail all the way to the western edge of the old city. Mimico and New Toronto along Lake Shore Boulevard West offer lakeshore access that buyers two kilometres north pay significantly more to be near. Sherway Gardens anchors the northwest retail corridor. The Six Points intersection at Bloor and Kipling is being redeveloped as an urban hub. Etobicoke is the quiet west side of a city that talks mostly about its east end.
